Among Trees is a project located near Atlanta in Georgia(US). It is part of a larger masterplan that involves the designing of a variety of buildings in a larges forested plot of land. This portion of the masterplan, titled Among Trees, envisions the creation of 5 cabins nested within a more densely forested area on the southern end of the plot.

The cabins are variations based off a standardised cabin unit. The primary structure used is timber as an exterior envelop, blending in seemlessly with the trees nearby. The cabins are two-storeyed, with living and lounge areas on the bottom floor, and sleeping areas on the upper deck.

Each cabin is differentiated with a themed feature, from one with the inclusion of an outdoor fire pit, to another that has an expanded bathtub area. These enables the uniqueness of each individual cabin, while still retaining the aesthetic coherence and economics of construction.

Cabins are carefully placed on the masterplan to make use of existing trees to provide lines of sight covers in between the cabins and the proposed walking trail of the masterplan.
